MORANG: Province 1 witnessed 220 fresh cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, out of 911 PCR tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 131 males and 89 females have tested coronavirus pandemic.
The Ministry informed that there have been 84 cases of coronavirus pandemic in Jhapa, 72 in Morang, 35 in Sunsari, 10 in Sankhuwasabha, 6 in Ilam, 2 in Khotang, and one each in Udayapur and Dhankuta in the past 24 hours.
In the meantime, nine people outside province 1 who got their swabs tested in Province 1 have tested coronavirus positive in the past 24 hours.
With Friday’s cases, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 26,679 in this province.
Similarly, the province has got 188 people discharged from various isolation centers today. The number of discharged cases in this province has reached 21,679 now.
