NAC asks passengers to Narita, Hong Kong to reach airport 4 hrs before flight

KATHMANDU: The passengers flying Narita, Japan, and Hong Kong are notified to reach the airport one hour earlier than before now onward.

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has informed that the arrival time at the airport for the passengers is added by one hour now.

Earlier, the arrival time for the passengers heading for international flights was three hours before the flight.

The airport officials used to accomplish all flight formalities within three hours but the extra check-up procedures added due to the coronavirus pandemic have made the aviation authority to add one more hour now.

NAC had faced some security concerns as to its passengers who had COVID-19 negative report in Kathmandu tested coronavirus positive in some of the destinations including Hongkong and Narita.

NAC has come strictly after the contradicting health report started tarnishing it image.

The national flag bearer of Nepal has made coronavirus negative reports from the authorized public labs mandatory for all international flights.
