India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 119,000 mark



KATHMANDU: India recorded 36,838 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 7,945,888.

Currently, 627,638 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,198,715 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 119,000-mark.

With 505 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 119,535, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
