NA Chief Thapa in self-isolation



KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staffs of Nepali Army (NA) Purna Chandra Thapa has taken to self quarantine, a precautionary measure to prevent the coronavirus pandemic transmission to others.

According to the NA’s press release, COAS Thapa has self-quarantined himself after noticing one of his cooks coronavirus positive.

NA’s release has remarked that Army Chief Thapa has self-quarantined himself abiding by the health safety related directives and standards set by the Ministry of Health and Population.

The cases of infection in the security forces like Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force seem hiking even after the relaxation of lockdown and the prohibitory orders.
