Man from Jhapa dies of coronavirus in Biratnagar



BIRATNAGAR: A man infected with the coronavirus died at the Koshi Hospital COVID-19 Treatment Center in Biratnagar on Saturday night.

A 47-year-old man of Kankai-9 of Jhapa died at around 10:45 pm on Saturday, according to the hospital.

The man’s report was positive when he underwent a PCR test for COVID-19 after showing symptoms similar to the coronavirus infection.

He was initially admitted to Mechi Hospital in Jhapa for treatment after diagnosed coronavirus positive on Thursday and was brought to Biratnagar on Saturday night for further treatment after his health condition deteriorated.
