KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has stated that there are chances of heavy rain at one or two places of Province 1 on Sunday.
In a weather bulletin for today, the met office stated that light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati and Gandaki and at one or two places of Province 5, Karnali and Sudurpaschim.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places Province 1, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province at night, it added.
Currently, the low-pressure area in Bihar, India is on the verge of weakening, according to MFD.
The met office has requested to take necessary precautions as there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Province 1.
