65 delivery drivers arrested for breaching prohibitory order

KATHMANDU: A many as 65 people have been arrested in the Kathmandu Valley for delivering goods of e-commerce websites during a prohibitory order clamped to stem the spread of the coronavirus.

Police stated that they are preparing to release them after advising them not to deliver goods through the prohibitory order.

Police said that they were taken under control as the delivery service has not been covered as essential services through the prohibitory order.
