‘Food bank’ set up in Siraha



SIRAHA: A ‘food bank’ has been set up in Siraha district headquarters Rajbiraj targeting the disadvantaged people and those who lost employment opportunities due to coronavirus infection and subsequent lockdown.

Youths associated to Siraha United Organization set up the ‘food bank’ and started collecting foodstuffs through facebook.

Roshan Gupta of Siraha United shared daily 10/12 people are taking foodstuffs from ‘food bank’ which was established with the slogan ‘Please take when necessary, otherwise donate food’.

He further said the objective was to provide foodstuffs to the disadvantaged and w

orkers’ families who are at receiving end of lockdown and prohibitory order. RSS
