Three died of electrocution



KATHMANDU: Three youths have lost their lives in three different instances of electrocution in different part of the country since Sunday.

A young man of Taplejung got electrocuted while helping the truck stuck in the muddy road at Fungling-2, Ahaletanabe.

According to Taplejung Police, Bikas Sunuwar 27, who was driving, Me 1 Cha 3011, car got electrocuted while trying to help the truck stuck in the muddy road.

“The truck happened to touch the high voltage cable of 11,000-voltage and the youth died at the spot,” the police said, “Amrit Shrestha 30, the driver of the truck was also injured in the incident and is taken to District Hospital Taplejung for treatment.”

Shrestha is from Hilihang-7, Paanchthar.

Similarly, Dipesh Kumar Yadav, 3, who was electrocuted while playing at his maternal uncle’s home at Simraungadh-9, Basbariya has died while undergoing treatment in District Hospital, Kalaiya.

In another incident, Pul Singh Kasyab, 30, of Godavarii-4, Kailali has also died while undergoing treatment in Padma Hospital, Attariya.

Kasyab was badly injured when he received a shock while working on his welding shop.
