Seven central members quit CK Raut’s Janamat Party



PARASI: Seven central members affiliated with CK Raut-led Janamat Party have quit the party.

They have announced their resignation from the party organization a press conference in West Nawalparasi on Saturday.

Central members Kailash Mahato from Nawalparasi, Satila Yadav from Siraha, Dinesh Prasad Yadav from Bara, Sanjay Kumar Sah from Parsa, Dhubr Prasad Kahanar from Nawalparasi and Rajmati Paswan from Nawalparasi have left the party.

Central member Kailash Mahato said that they reached a decision to quit the party blaming the CK Raut as he had abandoned the agenda of Madhes and tried to run the party in a dictatorial manner.

Mahato was one of a trusted member of CK Raut.

Earlier, he was the central vice-president of the Independent Madhes Organization run by Raut.

“Everyone knows that they have stopped all their activities and reached an agreement overnight with the government. We have been dissatisfied since that time,” said Mahato.
