Entrepreneurs call for free rental during lockdown

KATHMANDU: Nepal National Entrepreneurs Association has demanded that the rental should be waived during the lockdown period.

The Association called for free rental arguing that all the shops were closed down during the lockdown and the business could not pick up even after the lockdown modality underwent changes.

Issuing a press note on Friday, Chairman of the Association said the entrepreneurs are these days struggling hard to solve hand-to-mouth problems, let alone the rental payment for the shutters due to the recession caused coronavirus-induced lockdown.

The Association has demanded that the rent should be waived not only for some time but for the entire lockdown period.
