26 new coronavirus cases in Karnali Pradesh, tally hits 1, 433



SURKHET:  Karnali Pradesh on Friday reported 26 new cases, taking the number of coronavirus cases to 1,433 in the province.

According to a press note issued by the Ministry of Social Development of Karnali Pradesh, the newly infected are 12 from Surkhet, five from Dailekh, Three from Salyan, two from Jajarkot and one from Mugu.

Similarly, those infected include one each from Tokha municipality, Kathmandu, Birendra municipality, Surkhet and Sinja rural municipality, Jumla, confirmed Dr Laxminarayan Tiwari, chief of Health Division Service under the Ministry of Social Division.

The new cases were confirmed during tests at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences and Animal Disease Investigation Laboratory, Surkhet.

Similarly, as many as 720 people have recovered while six have died from the coronavirus in the province so far.
