‘Enough is Enough’ activist E held



KATHMANDU: Police have taken under control E, an activist associated with the campaign ‘Enough Is Enough’ from Lalitpur.

E had been staging a fast-unto-death on the premises of Krishna Mandir in Lalitpur demanding effective control of COVID-19, proper management of quarantine camps, widening scope of PCR tests, among others.

Metropolitan Police Range Office, Lalitpur took him under control from Krishna Mandir premises on Friday.

Five others were held along with E, it is learnt.

E had given a 14-day ultimatum to the government to fulfill his demands.
