43 Coronavirus patients recover in Province 2 in past two days

KATHMANDU:  A total of 43 Coronavirus patients have recovered in Province 2 in the last two days.

As many as 43 Coronavirus patients returned home after recovery from Narayani Hospital, Birgunj on Monday evening, according to Dr Madan Kumar Upadhyaya, medical supereintendent of the hospital.

Earlier, 18 people including a two-month-old infant who underwent treatment at Narayani Hospital recovered on Monday morning.

With this the total number of Coronavirus patients recovering from COVID-19 in Province 2 has rearched 76.

Currently, 44 people including two women are in isolation in Birgunj Hospital, 27 including six women at Gandak Hopital, 24 including two women and 18 people including one woman are in isolation wards at Gauri Nursing Campus of Rautahat district.

Similarly, 12 are in isolation of Alpamai Ramnarayan Yadav Nursing Campus in Sarlahi, 13 people at Kalaiya Hospital in Bara, and four at Gajendra Narayan Hospital in Saptari.

Meanwhile, the condition of 55 people who were confirmed infected with the coronavirus on Monday is said to be normal.
