Over Rs 2.13 billion deposited in COVID-19 fund so far



KATHMANDU: Over Rs 2.13 billion has deposited in the government fund to fight COVID-19 so far.

According to Spokesperson at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the amount has been deposited to the government’s Coronavirus Infection Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund as of Friday afternoon.

As per the latest list, Ambe Steel has contributed Rs 2.5 million, Sagarmatha Insurance Rs 1.6 million and Federation of Nepal Brick Industries Rs 500,000.

Likewise, Nepal Civil Service Employee’s Association has donated Rs 201,111, Regional Agriculture Research Center Rs 168,453 and Division Forest Office, Salyan Rs 162,505 among others.
