Thefts at Saptari offices during lockdown



SAPTARI: Thefts have been reported at three government offices in Bodebarsain Municipality of the district at the time when a weeklong lockdown has been enforced to combat COVID-19.

According to Ward Chairman Anoj Kumar Yadav, thieves stole cash and other valuables from a ward office, a health post and an additional post office located in ward 3 on Wednesday.

Yadav said that the thieves made off with Rs 18,000 in cash two computers, a fan and a router.
