Govt to provide Rs one million to hospitals for running fever clinic



KATHMANDU: The government has announced to provide one million each hospitals that starts a fever clinic on their premises.

Yadav Koirala, Secretary at the Ministry of Health informed that the government has decided to establish a fever clinic in 25 different hospitals throughout the country.

“We assigned 25 hospitals of the country as hub hospital,” Secretary Koirala said, “We have decided to provide Rs one million each to the hospitals to launch fever clinic there.”

According to Koirala, hub hospitals have to provide a fever clinic service.

He informed that more than 700 coronavirus tests have been carried out in the Teku based laboratory in which three samples were found corona positive.

Adding that corona transmission could be curbed more efficiently provided the incoming Nepalis abide by the self-isolation and quarantine rules, he requested all to obey the government directives.
