Vishal Group to contribute Rs 10 million for coronavirus fund



KATHMANDU: Vishal Group on Thursday announced that the VG FOUNDATION, CSR unit of the group, will contribute up to Rs. 10 million to support the government’s response to the Pandemic and to aid the public health relief efforts.

‘We are incredibly proud of all the people who are committed to providing support to those dealing with this crisis and experiencing its impact,” said Vishal Group, ‘From medical professionals to general public, we hope this support will help provide some relief.’

Vishal Group recognizes the role of front-line health care providers as they apply their expertise on this fast-moving issue and care for the well-being of our communities. We hope that our support will help provide some relief to medical professionals and the general public.

Vishal Group also appreciates the relentless effort being made by the Government of Nepal to break the spreading of the infection. We want to request the general public to follow the restrictions and Lockdown being implemented by the government as this has become a must for the safety of all of us.

In this critical situation, we stand with the nation to use our resources and our skill-sets to contribute towards the people’s welfare and will expand the possible contribution as needed.

Earlier, VG FOUNDATION has handed over sanitizers and surgical masks to Bir Hospital, Thapathali Hospital (Prashuti Griha) and Kanti Bal Hospital.

VG FOUNDATION is now working with international suppliers to source N95 masks, sanitizers, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), Infrared Thermometers and other medical supplies – to supply to various medical establishments in Nepal.
