Surendra Pandey accuses PM Oli of trying to act like a king



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Standing Committee member Surendra Pandey has accused Prime Minister KP Oli of trying to act like a new king.

“Prime Minister Oli has tried to establish himself as a new king. However, we are not in favor of watching your efforts,” he said speaking at a function organized by NCP Dhading Kathmandu Contact Forum, “He is carrying out unconstitutional activities. The people give the answer to his steps.”

He insisted that Prime Minister Oli’s move would not go far.

“Beware! You are not a king. Don’t try to act like a king. We will stop your attempts. We will not allow it to succeed,” he said.

He claimed that the dissolution of the parliament was unconstitutional and expressed his belief that the Parliament will be reinstated.
