One killed, eight injured in Makwanpur bus mishap



HETAUDA: One person was killed and eight others were injured when a bus heading to Chitwan from Hetauda met with an accident at Bastipur along the Hetauda-Narayangadh road section of East-West Highway.

The deceased has been identified as Hari Gauli, 32, of Sunderbazaar Municipality-8 in Lamjung, police said.

According to police, Gauli succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda.

It is said that the bus, Na 5 Kha 4609, overturned due to over speed.

All the injured are undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital. According to police, there were 18 passengers on the bus.
