Ex-King Gyanendra embarking on visit to eastern Nepal on Sunday



KATHMANDU: Former King Gyanendra Shah is embarking on a visit to eastern Nepal on Sunday.

He is scheduled to visit his residence at the Himalayan Resort in Damak, Jhapa, along with former Queen Komal Shah, said Press Secretary to Gyanendra Phaniraj Pathak.

Former Crown Princess Himani Shah is also scheduled to go to Jhapa with some family members in a few days.

During his stay in Jhapa, Gyanendra is scheduled to meet representatives of royalist organizations and leaders and cadres of various parties.
