Province 1 witnesses 237 new cases of coronavirus



BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 witnesses 237 new cases of coronavirus on Monday making the coronavirus case tally in the province 17,651 till date.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of the Province, the province saw 187 cases in Sunsari, 31 in Jhapa, 8 each in Morang and Ilam and 3 cases from outside the province.

Similarly, the province got 527 people after recovery today. The number of discharged cases became 8,643 till date.

According to the Ministry, there are 29 people undergoing treatment in the ICU of 6 different COVID-19 hospitals. There are 8 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in various ventilators.

The province has seen 171 coronavirus death till date.
