Province 2 sees 56 more cases of COVID-19, two deaths



JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 saw 57 fresh coronavirus cases and two coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours.

According to Bijay Jha, Senior Administrator of Province Health Directorate of Province 2, the province saw 23 new cases of the coronavirus in Parsa, 16 in Rautahat, 10 in Saptari, three each in Dhanusha and Bara and two in Siraha in last 24 hours.

Jha said that among the Saturday cases, 45 are males and 12 females.

With this, the province caseload has gone to 13,303 on Saturday.

Similarly, the province saw two coronavirus death in the last 24 hours.

The latest death cases are 63-year-old and 71-year-old males from Rajbiraj-3.

Province 2 discharged 71 people after recovery taking the recovery cases in the province 7,526.
