30-yr-old dies of COVID-19 in Chitwan Medical College



CHITWAN: A young man infected with COVID-19 has died while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.

A 30-year-old youth from Godawari Municipality-1 of Kailali district died in the course of treatment on Friday night.

Kidney patient was admitted yesterday  after he complained of respiratory complications.

He succumbed to the virus at 11 pm while undergoing treatment at the ICU of the hospital, said Dr Dayaram Lamsal, the director of the hospital.

The coronavirus infection was confirmed in the patient posthumously after his report came out positive on Saturday morning.
