Police nab 3 involved in fraud of Rs 2.9 million



KATHMANDU: The Metropolitan Crime Division of Nepal Police has nabbed 3 persons on fraud allegation worth Rs. 2.9 million.

According to Nepal Police sources, Dhruva Thapa, 29, Sandhya Thapa, 24, and Rajendra Kumar Shrestha, 46, have been nabbed from Shree Tol Dhapasi, Kathmandu on Wednesday for their involvement in fraud.

The thugs used to present themselves as the most impressive personalities with high connections.

They had taken 2.1 million from Narayan Khadka, the inhabitant of Kathmandu-6, Saraswatinagar, Kapan promising to send him to Canada.

The thugs have been sent to Kathmandu Police Circle for further investigation.
