Province 1 reports 108 fresh cases of COVID-19

BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 witnessed 108 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, 48 people in Morang, 24 in Sunsari, 16 in Jhapa, 8 in Tehrathum, 4 in Paanchthar and one each in Udayapur and Khotang have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry informed that these new cases make the coronavirus case tally 2,940 in the province.

Similarly, as many as 81 patients were recovered from coronavirus on Wednesday. With this, as many as 1,385 have recovered from coronavirus in the province so far.

Nepal reported seen 885 cases of coronavirus on Wednesday making the total coroanvirus cases in the country 34,418.
