DPM Pokhrel clarifies on political appointment



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense, Ishwor Pokhrel clarifies he does not have any interest in political appointments and neither has he interfered on such issues.

In a press release today, DPM Pokharel said no member of his family and relatives has violated the existing legal provision by misusing his post or relation to him.

He said, “All activities have been carried out as per the rule and law, transparency has been maintained and all decisions have been taken based on due process. I want to assure that action would be taken if any activity is proved baseless.”

“I want to condemn the baseless statements made with ill intention to defame me, my determination and belief,” he said.
