3 police officials assigned for CM Pokharel’s security infected with COVID-19  



BUTWAL: Three police officials assigned for the security of Chief Minister (CM) of Province 5 Shankar Pokharel have been infected with the coronavirus.

According to Kundan Kumar Singh, the Health Division Chief of Butwal Sub Metropolitan City, a head constable, and two constables have tested positive for coronavirus.

They were confirmed to have been infected with the virus during swab tests of the staffers working at the Office of the Chief Minister Pokharel.

Two among those infected are from the Armed Police Force while the other is from Nepal Police.

A police official of Area Police Office, Butwal, had been diagnosed with the virus five days ago.

All of them have been kept at ANFA Isolation center set up by Butwal Sub Metropolitan City.
