Man nabbed for offering bribe to police



BHAKTAPUR: Police have arrested a man on the charge of trying to bribe an on-duty policeman at Sanothimi in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-2.

Jeevan Shrestha, 30, from Biratnagar Sub-Metropolis-1 of Morang and currently living in Sanothimi had tried to bribe the on-duty policeman deployed from the Metropolitan Police Division.

According to police, Shrestha, who was held for drunk-driving, had offered the bribe in a hope of getting off the hook.
