JANAKPUR: Province 2 government has decided to provide Rs 100,000 to the family of each person killed by lightning strikes.
Consoling the bereaved family members who lost their relatives to the lightning strikes that occurred on Thurdsay, Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives of Province 2, Shailendra Prasad Sah promised to provide Rs 100,000 each to the bereaved family.
The thunderbolt that struck amidst rainfalls on Thursday had taken lives of Lalita Devi Yadav, 30, of Dakneswori-9, Chhedi Thakur, 60, and Bechan Yadav, 27, of Mahadeva-2 and Kesi Lal Sah, 45, of Rajgadh-3.
According to the government of Province 2, Lalita, Chhedi and Bechan died on the spot whereas Keshi Lal passed away while undergoing treatment in Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital.
