India reports 24, 447 infection cases, 780 deaths



KATHMANDU: India has reported 780 deaths from Coronavirus after 59 died in the last 24 hours as of Saturday morning.

With 1, 408 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 24, 447.

Currently, 18, 171 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 5, 496 have returned home after recovery.

The India government has conducted tests on 541, 789 people for Coronavirus so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 197, 074 and infecting 2,827, 402 people as of Saturday morning.
