NEW DELHI: With the coronavirus going pandemic across the world, very few people across the globe are using the globes to save them from the virus.
More than 6820 people have been killed by the virus in Italy, the country still not adopted the practice of wearing hand gloves to protect themselves from the deadly virus, according to the IANS-C-VOTER Gallup International Association COVID Tracker 1 .
The Italians were still ahead of the global numbers, in which only 14 percent of the respondents said that they were using gloves to protect themselves against the deadly virus, a survey conducted among over 20,000 respondents from 22 countries said.
The least performing nation among the others was Turkey where only 2 percent of the respondents said that they were wearing gloves, while 98 per cent spoke against it. Turkey was followed by the Netherlands.
In the Netherlands, 96 percent of the people said that they had not taken to wearing gloves so far. In India, where the number of Covid-19 cases has risen to 415 on Monday, only 7 percent of the respondents said that they were using gloves.
