Police detain 52 people travelling in a container



BIRGUNJ: Birgunj Police has detained some 52 people traveling to Birgunj from Kathmandu hiding in a container near Ghantaghar of Birgunj during the lockdown last night.

Police have not released the people who had traveled inside the container truck with the registration no., Na 5 Kha 9552,  said District Police Office, Parsa.

According to police, each person had paid the truck driver Rs 200 as fare.

Further investigation is underway, police said.
