Govt identifies 158 people travelling with COVID-19 infected girl



KATHMANDU: The government has identified some 158 people who had travelled to Kathmandu from Doha of Qatar along with the 19-year-old Nepali girl who tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The government says it has contacted 125 of them for the test and quarantine at home.

Likewise, the Ministry of Health says that it is trying to contact the rest of the people.

The government had earlier asked the airline company to provide the details of the passengers who had traveled to Kathmandu from Doha that day.

The 19-year-old girl had traveled to Kathmandu on QR652 flight.

She is currently undergoing treatment at the Teku-based Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Kathmandu.
