NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Thursday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 144.40 and the selling rate at Rs 145.00. The buying rate of one euro stands at Rs 170.51, while the selling rate is Rs 171.22.

Similarly, the buying rate of one pound sterling has been fixed at Rs 197.91 and the selling rate at Rs 198.73. One Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 185.89 and a selling rate of Rs 186.66.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 101.28 and the selling rate at Rs 101.70. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 105.61 and sold at Rs 106.05, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 113.50 and a selling rate of Rs 113.98.

Likewise, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.21 and the selling rate at Rs 9.25. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.80 and sold at Rs 20.89. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 38.51 and the selling rate at Rs 38.67, while one Qatari riyal is being traded at Rs 39.62 (buying) and Rs 39.78 (selling).

According to the bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.56 and the selling rate Rs 4.58. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.31 and sold at Rs 39.48, while the buying and selling rates of one Malaysian ringgit stand at Rs 36.72 and Rs 36.88, respectively.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 9.91 and the selling rate at Rs 9.95. One Swedish krona is being traded at Rs 16.10 (buying) and Rs 16.17 (selling), while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 22.83 and a selling rate of Rs 22.93.

Similarly, one Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 18.49 and sold at Rs 18.56. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 472.75 and the selling rate at Rs 474.71. One Bahraini dinar is being traded at Rs 383.03 (buying) and Rs 384.62 (selling), while the buying and selling rates of one Omani rial are Rs 375.09 and Rs 376.65, respectively.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
