Dept orders to withdraw substandard drugs from market

KATHMANDU: The Department of Drug Administration has instructed three medicine factories to immediately withdraw their products from the market saying that they have been substandard.

The Department has asked Bhaskar Herbacuticals Pvt Ltd to withdraw its Lacofit Boil Regulator, the Gorkhanath Herbacuticals Pvt Ltd to withdraw its Abhipattikar Churna, and Aarogya Bhawan Works Pvt Ltd to withdraw its 100-gram package of Aarogya Balbel Churna from the market.

The Department, during a recent market monitoring, had found the drugs have been substandard.
