Sankata beats Friends Club 1-0 in ‘A’ Division League



KATHMANDU: Sankata Club defeated Friends Club 1-0 in the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Saturday.

Sankata’s Ajaya Martins Kayode scored in the 64th minute of the game played at the Tripureshwor-based Dashrath Stadium.

With the win, Sankata has garnered 12 points from eight matches. The team has won three matches, lost two and played three stalemates.

Sankata has been placed fifth in the points tally along with New Road Team and Jawalakhel Youth Club with equal 12 points.

Friends is placed 11th with eight points from eight matches.
