MANANG: Foreigners are trekking along the renowned Annapurna Circuit trek although it snowed earlier when compared to the earlier years.
According to the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), Manang, 143 foreigners have trekked from Chame to Thorong La Pass this year so far.
Thorong La or Thorung La is a mountain pass with an elevation of 5,416 meters above sea level in the Damodar Himal, north of the Annapurna Himal, in central Nepal.
Earlier, trekkers used to visit the place only during the trekking season. But, there has been a flow of tourists throughout the year, of late.
