Baluwatar gathering is just a “bark” of tree: Jhala Nath Khanal

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and senior leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Jhala Nath Khanal has claimed the NCP will not split at any cost.

Speaking at the press meet organized by Prachanda-Nepal faction, Khanal said NCP will never split though the part of bark may get peeled partially for the time being.

Giving example of the tree, NCP leader Khanal said that sometimes a part of the bark gets peeled off and added that the gathering of NCP leaders at Baluwatar is just a small part of the bark.

“Even the constitution does not allow the split of NCP, a part may peel off,” he told the reporters, “the gathering at the Baluwatar is merely a small bark of the tree, the real NCP  is with us.”
