Prachanda-Nepal faction at EC to claim party’s legitimacy



KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction has reached the Office of the Election Commission (EC) at Kantipath to claim the legitimacy of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

Leaders of the Prachanda-Nepal-led Communist Party of Nepal, including two presidents Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal, have reached the Election Commission.

They reached the EC after participating at a protest in Kathmandu’s Maitighar on Friday morning.

The leaders and activists of the group marched towards the Election Commission chanting slogans from Maitighat.
