Fight for legitimacy in NCP: Prachanda-Madhav faction visiting Election Commission today



KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee meeting of the Prachanda-Madhav faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to visit the Supreme Court (SC) and the Election Commission today.

A meeting held at a banquet in Babarmahal on Thursday decided to go to the apex court at 10 am and the Election Commission at 12 pm today, informed leader Bhim Acharya.

A writ petition filed at the apex court against the dissolution of the Parliament is being heard in the Constitutional Bench today.

It is learnt that the Prachanda-Madhav faction could not decide on the post of General Secretary on Thursday.
