Deepak Manange’s wife arrested in idol theft case

HETAUDA: Dikshen Lama, wife of Rajiv Gurung alias Deepak Manange, a State Assembly member of Gandaki Province, has been arrested on charges of idol theft.

Lama was arrested by the police from Hetauda in Makwanpur district as per the arrest warrant issued by the District Court, Kaski.

Chief of the District Police Office, Makwanpur, SP Sushil Singh Rathore said that Lama was arrested and sent to Kaski on Tuesday.

A case of theft was registered in the Kaski District Court alleging Lama of stealing the idol made of precious metal.

She was arrested from Hetauda and sent to Kaski after the district court wrote a letter to the police to arrest Lama.
