KATHMANDU: The Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) has suspended transactions of three manpower companies conducting interview without taking its prior consent.
According to Kumar Dahal, the Director General of DoFE, three manpower companies which had been conducting interview of the youths tempting them employment in Qatar Police without taking department’s permission have been suspended from Wednesday.
DG Dahal informed that all transactions of SOS Manpower Service, DD Human Resource and Hope International have been suspended from November 25.
The Department had raided SOS Manpower Service and DD Human Resource on Monday and Hope International’s office on Tuesday.
During the DoFE’s raid in SOS and DD Manpower companies around four hundred youths were waiting for interview in each place.
“After finding the manpower companies conducting illegal activities, the Department has suspended their all transactions to be effective from today,” Dahal said on Wednesday.
Lately, some manpower companies in Kathmandu have been taking interview of many youths promising to send them as security guard at Qatar’s Ministry of Interior Human Resource Department.
Taking the Department’s prime consent prior to fixing interview of the prospective candidates is mandatory.
