Prachanda demands to book Chaurasiya’s murderers

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has demanded action against those involved in the killing of his cadre Mukesh Chaurasiya in Parsa.

In a statement issued on Sunday, he said, “As the executive chairman of the party, I strongly urge the government to bring the guilty to book. Even when there is a heinous crime like murder, the reluctance of the local body to register the case has come as a surprise. I urge the central government to take immediate action against the culprits and express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. ”

Chaurasiya was killed in a clash between former UML and Maoist groups.
