Four held with illegal drugs in Kanchanpur

KAILALI: Police have arrested four individuals with narcotic drugs and some gold from Nepal-India border near Beldangi rural municipality in Kailali district.

Acting on a tip-off, an Armed Police Force (FPF) team deployed from APF Battalion No. 35, Shaileshwari, Kanchanpur arrested Himal Shah, Kailali Sub Metropolitan City-2, Manish Sunar, 28, of Shuklaphanta municipality-10, with 3.5 grams brown sugar and some gold.

Similarly, the other two arrested are Janak Raj Joshi, 35, of Bhimdatta municipality-3, and 36-year-old Nagendra Chand of Bhimdatta municipality-15 with six bottles each containing 600 milliliters of corex, 24 tablets of Nitravets among others.

All the four arrested along with the seized narcotic drugs have been handed over to Area Police Office, Beldangi for necessary action.
