KANCHANPUR: A son has killed his own mother in cold blood at Punarbas area in the southern belt of Kanchanpur district.
Pappu Badi, 30, of Punarbas municipality-3, Sukumbasibasti, murdered his 57-year-old mother Parwati Badi with a sharp weapon, said Police Inspector Kailash Bista of Area Police Office, Tribhuvan Basti.
According to Bista, Pappu killed his mother over a minor dispute at 8 pm on Saturday.
Critically injured Parwati died while being rushed to Seti Provincial Hospital.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the murder-accused into police custody.
