India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 118,000 mark

KATHMANDU: India recorded 50,224 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 7,863,892.

Currently, 669,602 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,075,723 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 118,000-mark.

With 575 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 118,567, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
