PSC exams rescheduled, to start on November 3

KATHMANDU: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has rescheduled the exams postponed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, the exams will start from November 3, immediately after the major Hindu festival Dashain.

The meeting of the PSC board held on Thursday decided to conduct the previously postponed exams.

According to PSC Bulletin, the exams of Gazetted Third Class Officer and Non-Gazetted First Class Officer level were formally scheduled to occur in April, but citing the unprecedented circumstances brought by the coronavirus pandemic outbreak and the lockdown imposed to curb it, the exams were postponed till further notice.

Gita Kumari Humagain, Spokesperson of PSC, said that as per the new schedule, the exams of section officer level would take place between November 3-8, whereas the exams of non-gazetted First Class level from November 22 onwards.
