COVID-19 tally in Province 5 crosses 10,000-mark



BUTWAL: The coronavirus tally in Province 5 crossed the 10,000-mark on Friday.

According to the Province’s Ministry of Social Development, the number of coronavirus cases in the province has reached 10,027.

Another 60 people were confirmed infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Among them, 19 are from Rupandehi, 12 from Banke, 11 from Pyuthan, seven from Dang, five from Kapilvastu, three from Bardiya, two from Gulmi and one from Nawalparasi West.

In the last 24 hours, 158 coronavirus-infected people have been discharged.

Of the infected, 2,236 are undergoing treatment. So far, 7,665 people have been discharged.

A total of 65 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus infection in the province so far.
