Dr Govinda KC’s hunger strike enters 11th day



KATHMANU: The hunger strike of senior orthopedic Surgeon Dr Govinda KC has entered 11th day today.

This is his 19th hunger strike calling for implementation of his past agreements reached with the government.

Campaigner for reforms in the medical sector in Nepal, Dr KC has said he would not break his hunger strike this time until the reliable base is formed for the implementation of his past agreements.

Doctors attending to KC have said KC’s health condition is deteriorating day by day.

Nepal Medical Association, Birgunj also expressed solidarity with KC wearing black armbands on Thursday.
